The Road To Stardom

Hey? Hello? Hi?
Don’t you think it is interesting how anyone can become a multi million making music artist these days? Like you whatch television and every hour there is some new artist’s music video being played on DSTV. Here I thought I was on top of my game, that I was on top of the music industry but it is moving to fast for me, I am shy to admit. Nowadays all you need is exposure right? That’s why I decided to explore this craze they call Youtube.

For all of you who do not know what You Tube is: Well
YouTube started February 15, 2005, was founded by Chad Hurley, and Steve Chen.

Who were both early employees of
PayPal. The site was purchased one year later by Google for over one and a half billion dollars. During that time the website amazed over twenty million users, mostly teens and young adults. Two million videos are added to YouTube's stock of 100 million videos every month. While much of the content consists of original amateur home video, many advertisers and media producers are now providing professional content. Media giants:
CBS,
Warner MG, EMI Group, Universal MG, and Sony BMG have all agreed to either provide content to YouTube, or to license their respective copyrighted material for use in independent videos released on the site. YouTube has also become a means of promoting bands and their music. One such example is OK Go which got a huge radio hit and an MTV Video Music Awards performance out of the treadmill video for Here It Goes Again. Singer-songwriter Tay Zonday's video of "Chocolate Rain" had such play that it led to a music video promoting a Dr Pepper product. YouTube has consistently proved itself as a great platform for aspiring artists noticed by its millions of users and helping change peoples lives for good. For example Jessica Rose all she started off imitating famous artists, when she performed her own music she was an instant hit on Youtube and has since appeared on idols Dutch TV shows like Life & Cooking and Jenssen. More recently she has actually had the chance to perform with

Justin Timberlake and has been signed by Tennman records.
Just like that and it all stared with her having fun with digital technology. Imagine just by exposing yourself on a website and if you good you can become a leading artist before you know it.

so for all those aspiring artists here’s the way to go lol.
